guarantee your products? Newly purchased
plants that we install for you and all non-plant items are guaranteed for one
year. All other plants sold by Classic are guaranteed for 90 days. Some

landscape installation and nursery product warranty. What if I need
a plant that is not on your list? Can you find it for me? We will
certainly try! With our 10 acre nursery and with hundreds of landscape
installation clients having projects completed annually, Classic is moving a
lot of plant materials. We purchase from some of the best sources in the plant
industry, including Monrovia, Proven Winners and First Editions. Our
professional design and horticultural team compiles a special current
availability list that sources over 10,000 plants from local and regional
suppliers and we use an extensive database of growers in order to find the best
botanicals. This unique and comprehensive database allows us to accommodate
many specialty orders. If you have a specific plant request, please email us
information on the size, quantity and variety of plant(s) that you are looking
for and one of our professional horticulturalists will contact you as soon as possible.
Please note that we can also source and quote a wide range of landscape
construction materials as well, such as stone, paving, wall materials,
drainage, pots, sculpture, water features and garden art. Can you tell me
more about the delivery timing?
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for us to complete your online order before
delivery. Deliveries with installation requests may take longer based upon
demand and our current crew schedules. When placing your order, please note in
the comments field your desired delivery date and we will do our best to meet
your needs. We will contact you once your order has been procured to confirm a
delivery date with you. Please note that some orders may take longer than
expected due to limited seasonal availability, special plant varietals or
minimum quantities that need to be compiled from more than one order so as to
facilitate efficient shipping. Materials directly from the nursery may be
fulfilled on the same day in some instances. Call or email ahead if you need
your items more quickly. How is the
delivery, handling and installation price determined? What do these items
include? As you can
imagine, offering an accurate delivery and installation price can be a
confusing business. As we are dedicated to providing our clients with prompt,
accurate and predictable pricing, we use a simple ratio to determine additional
investments for these items. The handling fee is charged as a percentage of
total items purchased - to cover the sourcing, procurement and staging of your
order prior to delivery or pickup. This may include labor time and fuel etc. to
go to a supplier and procure materials, labor to dig and prepare a tree for
purchase or time necessary to load a truck with materials, for instance. The
installation charge is determined as a percentage of plant items purchased and
allows for labor charges to facilitate limited item specific digging, planting
and cleanup on site. Delivery charges are based upon your submitted zip code to
allow for distance to and from our facility. Delivery includes the offloading
and neat on site placement of your item(s) within a select distance of our
truck in its nearest parked location and this charge assumes that we will have
good access. Certain restriction apply with regard to these policies. As we
want to ensure that this is an easy process overall for you, we ask that you
clarify where you want your order placed on site at the time of delivery and
whether you will need to be home to meet us at that time. Please see your

delivery services. What if I want
Classic to install only part of my order? In some
instances, you might want to have only part of your order installed. Let's say
that you want a dozen perennials delivered to plant on your own and a large
Japanese maple that is to be installed by Classic. In a case like this, just
complete the entire order as 'delivery only' and contact us in the notes
section or by a separate email. We will then quote the installation portion and
with your authorization, update your charges accordingly. What do I need
to know about picking up my order? We will contact
you by email or phone when your order is ready for pickup. While our online
store and landscape/design divisions are always open, the nursery is seasonally
open and has varying hours during the year. If you want to visit the nursery,
go to classicnursery.com to check our open hours or simply contact us. What is the
return policy? How do I return an item? Before
returning an item, be sure to contact us by email or phone. We will be
happy to credit your account or credit card as appropriate and based upon our
return policy. Please note that, in order to facilitate delivery or pick up by
you - some or all of your order may have been specially sourced, procured and
brought to our facility by Classic staff. Refundable items that are refused at
the delivery address or returned to Classic are subject to a restocking fee
equal to 25% of the retail price of the item to be returned. The item(s) must
be returned in original condition as at time of delivery. Installed items,
handling and delivery fees are non-refundable. Other limitations apply. Please
see your 'Classic Purchase Agreement' for more details. If you have
questions about this policy as it relates to any specific items on your order,
simply call or email us. What if I am a
current landscape installation client? If you are a
landscape installation client with an ongoing landscape project that we are
currently scheduling or in the process of actively completing, please contact
your Classic project manager (or email your project manager at
design@classicnursery.com) and we will coordinate any new plant purchases as an
addition to your project invoice. While you may certainly pay for your order
online, there is no need to. Simply keep the items in your 'Cart' and we will
take care of the procurement and delivery as part of the project installation.
Please note that additional installation charges will apply if these items are
to be installed, but other handling and delivery charges as determined from the
retail store website may not apply. In some instances, the installation prices
may vary from those noted online. Ask your project manager about this. Any
online purchases will become addenda to our mutual Landscape Installation
Agreement with you. What if I am a
past landscape installation client with a 'wholesale card'? When we
complete a landscape installation and the landscape transaction is completed,
we will typically give our Clients a complimentary 'wholesale card'. This card
offers a 20% discount off of the retail price of plant materials purchased over
the counter from our nursery. This offer is valid for up to one year after
project completion and is offered at Classic's sole discretion. Some
limitations apply and this discount cannot be combines with any other sale or
reduced price. If you are a past landscape installation client with a
'wholesale card' and want to obtain this discount for your online plant
purchase, please go ahead and fill your shopping cart. Then contact our office
manager at officemanager@classicnursery.com and we will set you up with your
discount on plant materials that will be reflected in your cart before you
complete your purchase online. Please note that this offer is for nursery plant
items to be picked up by the Client from our nursery only and is not valid for
any items to be delivered or installed by Classic. Can trees and
bare-root items be ordered at any time? Typically,
large trees are not planted in the late spring and summer period if they are to
be dug as 'bare root' or ‘ball and burlap’ plants. These items are normally dug
in the cooler months and planted at that time to ensure their survival. That
noted, many of the trees that we list are in containers and available for
purchase at any time, so you can order and arrange to have a delivery and
installation later - all in one transaction. Don't worry, we will schedule and
notify you as needed. Some large tree material you will see on our online
inventory are single, specialty items and limited to the item noted. Email us
with regard to your specific tree request. If you order it in the off season, we
will schedule the delivery (and installation if requested) for the earliest
horticulturally - suitable date. What if I don’t
get everything on my order? While we will
make a thorough effort to fulfill all of your order, in some cases plant
material is not available as specified or may not be good enough for us to
procure for you. In this instance, we will contact you by email in a timely
manner to inform you about any unavailable items. You can then let us know if
you want to receive a credit for any items not supplied. Many clients want a
specific plant, but will allow us more discretion to select an alternate hardy
and locally available variety. With your permission, we will be happy to do
this in order to fully complete your order. We can also arrange to deliver the
items to you that are not supplied at a later date, when our supplier has it in
stock or it is more horticulturally suitable to procure. Will my plant
look like the picture those Classic shows online? We try to depict the plant you are seeking in its mature and seasonal glory, but you may be purchasing your plant at a time when it is less than full in size or
character. That beautiful Peony that blooms in July may look like a bare pot of
dirt in January! Don’t worry – it’s still the same glorious flower. Keep in
mind that a freshly available container plant is typically not a mature plant
and as such will not appear as full as in the picture we may show. Our online
catalog will often show the plants ultimate habit, not the plant as you will
receive it. We will try to be relatively accurate as to the characteristics of
each plant’s flower and foliage, but in some cases the flower and/or foliage
will vary from that shown on the picture. What is
